I've seen these kinds ads before and never took them seriously. Some of the perceived draw-backs that always ran through my mind was, how the heck was I going to package an end table. Sure I could build a great table, but as I thought more about it. I began to see how complicated this venture could be. I was in no way prepared to start!

If you have a room that is too narrow, you can make it appear wider with memory foam mattress placement. Putting the furniture at a diagonal will fool the eye into thinking the space is larger. You can also place art, rugs or shelving along the short wall to make the room seem wider than it really is. Or, you can paint the longest walls with a cool color, as this will make the walls look as if they are set back further and will make the room appear wider.

When you are designing a smaller room, use cleaning products that is appropriately sized. By planting an over-sized sofa or table in a cramped room, you will find that the room seems to shrink right before your eyes! Rather, choose pieces that compliment the size of the room without adding attention to it.
